Default Should I buy a .1gt3RS now?

Should I buy a 991.1gt3RS now or wait until .2gt3 hits NA market? (Maybe the market will adjust again after .2gt3 deliveries?)

No doubt .1RS values aren’t rising, and in the short term (next couple years), they aren’t likely to, especially when .2RS comes out, assuming it’s what’s expected (4.0 or larger NA engine, otherwise evolutionary improvements), regardless of whether .2 is very limited.

in terms of whether to wait, it depends more on whether you’re ok waiting more than a year without one to get a .2 and whether you’ll even be able to get a .2 allocation, especially if they’re very limited as some say they will be.

.2 rs comes in 2019. That’s 16 months. Buy the damn car and enjoy the heck out of it.

Yes, buying one now affords you the opportunity to drive a fantastic car the best in its segment, and when the .2 comes out you buy that and drive that and so on and so on and so on. The opportunity of not driving these fantastic cars is just too high to quantify. Whatever value is lost on trade in or sale is so irrelevant to the enjoyment of driving these cars. I will never gain back the times I have not driven these cars. I love driving and more of it I do the more satisfied with my life I am...

1) yes
2) it’s a great trade chip when you eventually sell it for new version
3) FUN YOLO LIFE IS SHORT
4) prices are so much more affordable you can be selective.

Get the .1 RS now. I don't know that anybody can tell u how much the rs will slide in value but all on this forum can tell that the .1 RS is an incredible driving car.

There are some deals out there to be found if you search and I bet having one will put you in a better position to get the next version or some other exotic when you decide to trade. One thing we do know is the history of the gt3 values vs the RS over the last few generations of GT3 cars. Unfortunately the GT3 has taken much larger hits than the RS. It's reasonable to expect the .2 GT3 will have a similar financial path of travel.

But more importantly there are only a select few on this forum such as the likes of CJ that would be able to run the new .2 to the limits of out performing the .1 RS and those results are only going to be derived on a track. I highly doubt you'll miss the .2 while enjoying the .1 RS unless you're simply one of the guys that just wants the next new shiny GT3 variant.

So get the RS and get to driving!!! Who wants some?

i´m not sure what will happen with .1GT3RS prices as soon .2GT3RS comes out and everybody wants one - but no one gets one.

A) mark ups will not be more than 50k over, because so many .1GT3RS in the market. and .2 can´t be that much better. i mean the .1RS is a dream! and still the benchmark. after 2,5years in his territory.

B) or huge mark ups 100k+. also .1 is getting better as long nobody is able to get the .2GT3RS. (approx same volumns as GT2RS)

buy it now! but not over MSRP

Are you buying to drive the car or for value?
If the latter.. wait for new deliveries to drop..

GL either way you'll have a great drive.
