Blanket statements require quantifying and basing your knowledge on your RL handle (Archimedes), I'm sure you can. So on to my question.

Assuming theres a sound engineering or aero reason for the scoops, what, if any, design alternative would you have come up with?

Btw, one can of course get them wrapped in anything you want if they are that aesthetically annoying.

US regulations I'm afraid. Get your dealer to swap them out with the clears.

I think the scoops look great and I love the new front end. Stealth front blinker are way cleaner. I never liked the .1 front with all the complicated angles. Under body cowling on the rear is a big improvement also.

I will paint my front and rear scoops gloss black to match the door handles.

Wow. That's a hard-loaded car. Options out the wazoo!
Makes me glad mine is white.

Nice specced car. Congrats to the lucky owner. Wonder if it's someone here on RL?

After staring at GT3 RS for a month, I’m not feeling the back wing. Thinking I might change my gt3 September build to a touring edition manual.

Like the Raisin Bran commercial? Two scoops are better than one? The .1 had one intake built into the wing which was a better integrated and more aesthetic design than the two flat black humps. I doubt the decision to go with satin black accents and no other option was made by the engineers.

I dunno, maybe at least PAINT MATCH THEM? And I'd be curious how they could be 'necessary' on the GT3 but not on the Touring version. You think they're aero?!

They look like an afterthought. And a stupid one at that. Rest of the car looks great, which makes the scoops look even worse.

I agree, the two scoops bother me the most about the design.

Paint match, I agree. As to why they're there? I'm no engineer but cannot imagine that Porsche would put them if they weren't necessary.

Maybe they don't have them on the touring version because they are fine to comprise performance vs wing and aero.

Is the larger fuel (90L) now included vs an option?
