leaving the money is one issue, my understanding is you can't get trade in credit on sales taxes unless the transactions are within 6 months
I don't see you getting a .2 RS within 6 months

im not not sure of the time table. I have left a similar trade in valued car at a dealer before for almost a year and still got the tax credit on the car ordered that was delivered almost 12 months later. Legal or not as long i get the credit it im fine with it

That thread had over 23000 views and was likely the only reason he reached a resolution.. hence the deal to remove OP trashing dealer.

I just sold yesturday my 991 RS, im in the hunt for the .2 Gt3 manual, i got bored of the pdk ( great transmision) but the best is the manual, im in line with my dealer in Mexico for the .2 gt3, as well as waxer i think it was the best car i've ever own...

I had spoken to a dealer/friend of mine in the north east (Massachusetts) that said he had 8 people trying to trade in their gt3rs as well and that he wasn't taking them beleiving that the market is going to fall on them soon and fast He actually said within 90 days he expects it to happen. The dealer i traded mine at has 4 now in stock and has had 3 of them for over 2 months. I personally think the market it going to get soft on them and below msrp isnt to far away. I still may get screwed on a 991.2 3rs by my dealer but will deal with it when the time comes. I may regret selling the .1 gt3rs later as well. Who knows? only time will tell

He should have "been a man" and sought out his own resolution if it was as simple as "miscommunication" ... Then to call out people and say "come talk to me in person".. Yeah, that is a class act... pathetic.
