Default Deviated stitching

I am considering racing yellow deviated stitching for my Viper Green and Platinum/black interior. I speced yellow seat belts along with PCCB so I am thinking the yellow deviated stitching would offer a nice contrast.
Question, Does the $3,500 deviated stitching option offer any increased amount of stitching inside the car ? Or is the $3,500 just to swap out platinum to yellow same amount of stitching ?

No additional stitching. Just swaps platinum for color chosen.

It also increases cost for a few extra leather options if you want them in the same color stitching such as the steering column in leather or sport seats plus back shells in leather.

No it doesn't, the strip ends up being platinum. Porsche exclusive has confirmed this. No way to delete the strip on the seat. Unless you do the CXX seat option.

So, you are saying the configurator is wrong, because when you select the $3500 deviated stitching, the configurator

deletes the seat stripes.

Just got the response from my exclusive consultant from Stuttgart, he confirmed that the stripe on the seat will be deleted if you pick the deviated stitching!

Reminds me when I ordered my Spyder if the Sunvisors are red or black ....Exclusives said black, first car in the US was delivered with red ones....

How is that possible ?
My SA confirmed no seat stripe delete with deviatiated stitching. This topic was discussed few weeks ago in Dallas, PCNA reps answered this question for my SA.

I hate those seat stripes, can we get an official confirmation that they can be deleted?

Seat stripes suck. Sad they won't let you delete them.
