Mountain pass bliss - part 2 - videos
Quick recap. Spent two weeks driving the mountain passes that are on every one's bucket list. Took 3 of my cars. GT3.2, GT3.1 and M2..
This is the first in a small collection of videos we took.
This video is us driving down the San Bernardino from the top. I lead off in the GT3.2 followed by brother in M2 and nephew in GT3.1 with the GoPro. Once we get a clear road, I am basically gone. Had to stop to let my brother and nephew catch up
The first part of the road a bit slow but the second part was clear and fast.
A short comment on the M2. It kept up pretty well. You can see in the low speed corners that it fairly rockets out if you can get the power down properly which is one of its problems. The other is brakes. They get a bit soft on some of the longer down hill sections. BMW...it needs BETTER brakes. I hope this is fixed on the M2 CS I have coming next year.
Videos on Furka and Grimsel to come.

The next video in the sequence. It's the run down the Furka Pass from the Hotel Belvedere/Rhone Glacier
This time the camera was in the M2 which was following me in the GT3.2.
This video clearly shows the performance difference between the two cars. I could pull a gap anytime I liked....but still...the M2 did a great job and the driver had fun. It's a great package for the price and that's why I have one. BUT BMW, please fix those brakes.
No complaints about the GT3.2 at all...it's awesome.
