Another round coming ...

I'm not saying anyone is wrong, I'm just surprised so many people have such solid information. I think that's a first here. I guess I'm just jaded because I heard this so many times with the .1 GT3 and even the GT4. So many people want to make sure everyone knows there are no more GT3 allocations. I also heard there are no more GT2RS allocations and only a couple .2RS allocations left.

More allocations coming.
You all believe too much what people say. Yes- allocations were given thru Nov 2018. So, you all think more allocations can not be added thru Nov 2018??- Really??
Most who have an allocation wants there to be no more- Typical Rennlist nature
Hey- I got one and could careless but if you think they are all done your smoking.

My dealer here in Canada has stated the same. All of their allocations through to end of 2018 are spoken for. Additionally, they have only taken a few calendar year 2019 deposits as they feel there won't be as many issued by PAG.
It would appear rennlist user "Loess" has the low down on VIN production. That would give considerable fact to the amount of GT3's headed for North America. I think he's posted something like of the 360 made to date for North America 24 are Canadian cars.

regardless of the conflicting info from the dealers I find it hard to believe there are no more spots given they released a touring model after the latest round of allocations were released. Why bother to even create another option if the you already pre-sold all your cars for the next model year ( possibly and a half)

Touring saves Porsche money (no carbon wing, 6mt only -->cheaper to build), eliminated some PTS demands, and probably helps with the LWB bottleneck (touring people probably more likely to spec 4way/18way). It also takes pressure of 911R prices (Porsche dislikes flippers apparently) and maybe some consolation to disappointed people who did not get a 911R. And it is free publicity.
So a no brainer for Porsche regardless of the fact that no one can walk into a dealer and buy one.
