Both colors are hideously boring on cars like the GT3/RS. Best saved for your station wagon.

I would tend to agree until I saw a Fashion Grey RS with black wheels in the flesh and it was just stunningly good looking.

Or the paint for your house ceiling as my wife says.
Kidding aside, chalk is growing on me. I've always liked FG, but chalk is a color I'm gaining respect for. Color is so subjective.

Subjective for sure. Some would say the same about just about every color. Different strokes for different folks.

I am a huge fan.

Subjective indeed. And very dependent on lighting as well. I saw an FG 991.1 GT3 driving around in a shopping plaza once. Spotted it three times in different angles of the sun within 10 minutes. Loved it the first time, thought the color was weird the second time and loved it the third time. Same thing happened with a chalk Panamera Turbo I saw at a gas station over the weekend.

True that color is very subjective. Everyone has a right to their own preferences.

However, I am just amazed about how much people debate between these two colors on rennlist as both are so boring/blah to me.

Referring to the 3 photos posted by Oaktown, I think pic 3 is actually chalk - it is the same car shown in pics 1 and 2, but sunlight is hitting the car in pic 3
