Fashion Grey and Chalk/Crayon Side-by-Side

Thanks for all those comparisons. I think chalk looks like a great substitute for fashion grey. I might still like sport classic grey best (gasp, can't believe I said that!).

Great photos! I actually like chalk better in the last few pics as fashion grey looks to have a little more yellow in that light. But I may be slightly color blind with light greys so could just be my perception.

I really love chalk, but I think it needs the black wheels, which ends up making this a $6k (CAD) added option over just going with guards red for me. Really hard to justify, unless I'm selling my GT4 and moving to the GT3 as the only sports car I have (which I really don't want).

After having my chalk GTS for a month, I can tell you guys it's a REALLY damn cool color. I've never in my life gotten more compliments or "whoa's" with any other color car I've had. And it does look WICKED close to fashion on a whole car vs a paint frog or plate, totally strange phenomena...

Great pics of the comparison with FG and with the white. Much closer than I thought. Still only one way to appreciate any of the greys and that is real life, in all lighting.

I have had a chalk gts for a month. It is my fourth 911. It is the only one that I get thumbs up reactions at stop lights and stop signs. From ten year old boys to guys in other 911s. I was on the fence before I ordered but I am happy now. It's actually quite a discreet colour.

Great thread. Love seeing the pics of Chalk and FG.
My new Chalk 911 is almost at Davisville port on east coast.

Wow! I thought difference was greater, great photos. Not much of a diff to my eye. Actually w/o a car to compare to I would bet 99% would not be able to pick up the difference,
