I have a 360, and arrows are slow to change. With that said I upgraded to the R3.

360 is very good but never had a V to compare

That gave me a good laugh, so true. Uniden was all the rage back then.

I have the Max CI 360 in my new car. Have the 9500ci in several other cars. The new Max 360 does a much better job filtering lidar and other false alarms. I love the speed trap and red light warnings. After going with stealth installation I could not go back to windshield mount. I have a Valentine but have not used in years

Uniden R3 is the new king of RDs. I've gone through V1, Escort Max 360 and now R3 and it has the best range, best BSM filtering and GPS lockouts. Highly recommended though hard to get hold of as its always sold out (Huge demand)

+1
Lots of ignorance on this topic, nice to see someone doing their due diligence and getting " past the past "
Nice choice

I've never owned a radar detector nor have I ever gotten a speeding ticket. I'm very aware of my surroundings and sure, I've been lucky. And no, I don't drive slow.

That's a "pretty" install.
Are you aware the laser jamming performance is terrible. Escort can't jam random pulse guns, while Anti laser priority can. Be careful

I encourage you to read up on the new Escort Laser technology for the new Max CI 360. They are much improved over the old 9500CI models and do handle variable pulse rate. As always YMMV and being aware of traffic changes ahead of you are good ways to prevent tickets

I have a V1 in my C2S, and a Max 360 in my GT3. The 360 is probably a measurably better unit, but I far prefer the ergonomics of the V1, which is more "analog" in its UI with simple access to volume, mute, and alert level functions. Also the V1 display is easier for me to read at a glance. If you mount the 360 high on the windshield, its primary controls can't be seen from the drivers seat, so you have to grope around on top and try to remember what button relates to what function. (I don't drive the GT3 often enough to have memorized the detectors controls). For me, I can operate the V1 and interpret its warnings quicker than I can the 360 which means more time focused on the road, and less time fiddling with or staring at the detector. If I had it to do over again I'd just swap the V1 between the 2 cars.

No, the Escort CI 360 CANNOT jam the "dragon eye“ a very popular random pulse LIDAR gun used by Law enforcement. Radar /Laser countermeasures is a hobby of mine and I am fully aware of the current offerings. Nobody, including myself enjoy being told AFTER spending a lot of $$$$ that their product is inferior to a lower priced product. The ONLY laser jammers on the market as of today that can jam the “dragon eye” and other random pulse LIDAR guns is ANTI LASER PRIORITY. I am not sure why you went with the Escort CI 360 and not anti laser priority. They both have stealth install but there is a huge difference in their performance. Be careful of a false sense of security.

You are welcome to buy what you want...and I will do the same. Even the 9500ci in my other cars still saves me and I have never gotten a ticket from laser in 5 years

So if you are unhappy with escort....that's cool...don't buy it
