Front axle lift less necessary on GT3T?
I'm trying to find any facts on this...
Apparently the Touring Package includes a smaller front splitter than the normal 991.2 GT3 as part of its aero package. I assume that means there is slightly more ground clearance than on a regular GT3. How much more?
I am trying to figure out whether I need the front axle lift option with the Touring Package. I have it on my 991.1 GT3 and definitely need it to enter/exit my own driveway curb cut without scraping. I used to have a GT4, which has no such option, but I was (just) able to not scrape it on my driveway.
So, what I would really like to know is what is the exact ground clearance at front splitter for Touring Package vs GT4?
I know the easy answer is to just get front axle lift. But if I don't need it due to better ground clearance of Touring Package, I'd prefer to save the $3K cost of that option and keep the build as clean as possible. Also one less thing to ever go wrong.

plenty of threads on this and I think you will find opinions vary like PDK v. Manual. My personal experience is YES it is definitely worth it as it is a very low car, lower than my others which I scrape regularly and have had no issues with my lifted GT3. I do not notice the weight penalty at all. I ordered again on my incoming car.

I ordered it. Didn't want it, but went through the same analysis. Didn't have on GT4 (not avail), never had big issue (did scrape rubber piece a couple of times). Have on RS and use periodically.

Thanks for input, everyone. While no one has yet provided any objective info about difference in front ground clearance between regular v Touring 991.2 GT3, it does seem unlikely that difference is much, if any, and that I'll probably need it, just as I know I need it on my 991.1 GT3.
But what helps above are the comments comments that a) most want it; and b) no one seems to regret it or have anything negative to say about having it. That is, far more potential buyers on resale would deinfitely want it, and few, if any, would feel negatively about a car has lift.
