^^^^^ those seem different than the other ones talked about a lot here. Interesting alternative.

I spent 6 months on this issue. I am 6'4 and went with 18ways. I plan on buying adjustable buckets (not the porsche lwb) if i get to the point were i can actually get enough time to do multiple track days, then will evaluate the real need. I will say, the 18ways are really great. I was concerned they would be uncomfortable, the lwb were a no go and the 4 ways felt soft on cars with a few thousand miles. Now I am not a wide guy, so that may also play a role in your decision to get 18 ways. They are tight and fit tight but I really like them. Just being able to adjust the seat dish forward is awesome. the seats don't feel short like many cars do for folks with long legs. hope this helps.

Those "foldable buckets" are not available in the 991.2 GT3 I suppose. I assume you twist that round **** at the bottom to tilt it. Why they didn't allow that in this seat (as an option) I have no idea.

My dealer said I should order the CF buckets, put them on shelf and put in other buckets if I want, however I am hoping that the bolt on seat angle options I've read about (to tilt seat back slightly) will alleviate my issue. The CF seat just sit up to much for my taste and I plan to daily drive and do only a bit of track time (I have other car for that). Is it wrong to give u opportunity to get these crazy expensive seats for a low price and buy 4 or 18-way - when obviously down the line, I'll want the buckets?

I have the LWB in my Touring and previously had them in my RS. I found the regular angle of the standard buckets far too upright for long term driving both on the track and street. On the track it was evident but tolerable and never that much of a problem because most sessions last 20-30 minutes. On the street esp on long highway drives just not comfortable at all. Now having installed the Autoquest adjusters I have nirvana. They look identical to factory just slightly longer and even the Porsche Tech thought they were factory and had only a slight change in angle.(He didn't understand why I was doing it) Now having them in my Touring I find it is an absolute must have modification. Not only have a driven much longer drives over an hour with no problems or discomfort but on track much better fit as my helmet does not push my head forward. I love the LWB and now with the adjusters would never think to go back to the 4ways even in my Touring.

race7117, that's the ones I think I will get. you said LWB, but I am assuming those are the very same as the CF buckets on the options list on the non-touring version. Correct?
