I like the aluminum. It does dent easily so be careful there. And if you trailer the car and drive the car in and out you also need to be careful. Wrapping a thick towel around the door edge to protect it from trailer inside has a slight caution. If it gets caught on the trim edge it will pull it off slightly and bend the trim. Because it is anodized it will "flash" slightly at the bend area. I managed to tweak and get the flash out and stuck the trim back with 3m double stick tape film. Not an easy task either. Because the aluminum trim still had a curl it eventually popped loose again. I may need to pin the end and cover the hole with chewing gum.
I like it and exactly what I was going for... The strip on the door panel that is on same level of dash strip we are speaking of is plastic and not the same leather as trim option on dash, correct? Would be perfect it was but I don't believe it is.

It is plastic or vinyl or something on non-full leather cars. On a full leather car the leather strip carries through to the door panels.
Plastic dash is a deal breaker. Even a low option car. I would get the leather dash before upgraded headlights. Standard headlights are just fine for what most people use this car for.

I like strippers. Dealer basically made me order lift ... for the dealership driveway!
