You are not alone in that sentiment, but it always strikes me as a shortsighted wish. I am all for preparing for a market downturn, but the idea that saving $20,000 in ADM on a car is worth a 20% plus hit to your portfolio is lunacy. Of course, maybe you already moved to cash and cash equivalents or you've been short the market this year? In that case, you've either lost big or missed out on a 12% run in the S&P 500 YTD.

I disagree. Around 200k is what I'm paying for mine in Germany. They didn't use to be but now that every other brand on the planet has killed their competing products due to government / environmental regulations the GT3 and other Porsche Motorsport cars are basically lone-survivors. That's also why these cars are getting the big ADMs now.

Any other company offer a naturally-aspirated race motor with a 6-speed gearbox right now?

Sorry, Not trolling. I just don't read every post on rennlist like I used to when I was younger.

I would hope hope to be a VIP at this point. I have 5 Porsche's in my garage at the moment. All serviced at the same dealership. I've owned many more. I am on the fence to get a pre-owned GT3RS (trading in the GT3 & GT4) or wait and order a new GT3.

Anyway sorry if I'm coming off naive.
If you’re willing to pay over MSRP, you can get one this spring. Call around. $25K over will do it. But you may find one for less.
