The Porsche Dealer who installed mine said there was no need to cut an opening

Are any adjustments necessary to balance the front end, due to the added down force on the rear from the diffuser?

In AZ? I don’t understand that because the factory makes a hole in the oem cover for a reason?!

If anything more rake, but I will test and find out.
Once I go 19” I will be more flexible to drop the front more then the rear compared to OEM.

In addition with competition suspension and wing setting, it creates more downforce on the track, especially in the big and fast curves on the Nordschleife. You feel it a lot (the complete package) in Spa too.

No way to scratch the diffusor...the rear end of the car is not that low.

Absolutly useless if you only drive on the road of course.
Hi, please can you expand/show pictures on how manthey achieve the extreme wing angle at the rear?

Can anyone also actually confirm the R diffuser part No?

Thanks,

Paul

Thanks!
I’m baffled, why that hole in our oem cover?!

Anyone? Do I really dare to just bolt it on?

Judging by my 22K service interval, my car gets hot!

Hi guys, it could simply be that the .2 gt3 was a manual therefore no cut out required. but if its a pdk, cut out would be highly recommended which is done on the .1RS

Anyway, so the conclusion is that the fin diffuser will not upset the RS during track sessions? and instead it is beneficial and positive?

Final question, if anyone who has fitted the R diffuser to their car can help, can you check / take a picture of the clearance to the right hand side exhaust valve actuator as mine is touching it

Installed it on my car this past weekend. Install was very simple and straight forward without even jacking the car up. My only issue with fitment on the .1 RS is with my Dundon headers one of the exhaust pipes it touching the diffuser on the front corners of it. Easy fix with a Dremel and all is good.

I have not tracked the car yet so I don't know if there is a difference downforce with it on the car. I think it is going to be negligible until you get into higher speed corners like Turn 12 at Road Atlanta, Turn 16-18 at COTA, etc
