Default My GT3 dream just became a nightmare.

My "confirmed" allocation, that I have been on RL talking about for weeks if not months, agonizing over silly options and details, has been unceremoniously yanked out from under me by the dealer. I'm told that the owner "let me" have the first one because he expected to get a 2nd one, but when the final allocations came down and they didn't get another, he decided to take mine back for himself. I can't even. I'm beyond livid. I know it's just a stupid car but I can't believe any dealership would do this.

I welcome any helpful suggestions as far as any recourse I might, either legally or through PCNA, but I have such a bad taste in my mouth I might just be done. I almost want to dump my GT4 and never look back. I've never felt so betrayed over a stupid transaction.

I envy all of you working with true "good guy" dealerships. I thought mine was one. I was dead f*cking wrong. Tread carefully and good luck with your "confirmed" orders.

I'm giving them a day or so to rectify the situation. For now while I try to work this out, i'm keeping the identity of the dealership under wraps. If I can't get it resolved, I will happily "out" them for their practices here and anywhere else I can think of.

That owner is the very definition of penny wise and pound foolish.

They no doubt sold the allocation to an LA-area dealer at $10-15k over, who is then selling it to kash101 for $25k over in the thread below this one.

Was the Official order form (build sheet - retail) with commission number etc assigned to you with your name and address on the document?

Sorry to hear that. I've had some a bad experience with many dealerships, but the reasoning behind your event is kind of over the top. Hope you get the situation handled well.

This is just wrong on so many levels.

And the owner can't get an allocation for himself? This is totally BS. PCNA still has some undistributed allocations and if the owner really want one for himself, he can beg hard for one from PCNA. No need to ****** an allocation from a customer's hand.

Sorry to hear this. I have experienced something similar, though not to this degree. In terms of legal recourse, I think it would cost you more than you benefit, which is another travesty in and of itself.

just get a 570S or AMG GTs and be done with them, or a 991.1 GT3 with 10year engine warranty if you are still loyal to Porsche.

If you need a manual get a 997.2 RS or a dogleg V12 vantage s

Sorry man. I too am sick of the Porsche BS but what happened to you is wrong. Hope it works out

I also don't know why people don't out the dealers who screw them over. You've been shafted let the world know so we can stay away. Hopefully they make it right but the certainly are someone I would like to know to avoid.

Maybe on the dealer's end but not on mine. I've had a commission # with my name on it, V200, for weeks. Nothing fishy on my part. I'm gettting straight up screwed. More to the story than what they are telling me? Possibly. No way to know.

Consider them outed: PORSCHE OF JACKSON (MS) owned by the Higginbotham Motors group out of Florida. They own a handful of MB stores in 3 or 4 southern states and I believe PoJ is their only Porsche store.
