thats a pretty good deal, depending on the original MSRP--if >$300k I think he should jump on it if he likes the color and specs....if a low option car and he plans on keeping it I would go for slightly higher mileage one with the full monty options, for a solar price

2011 Ferrari does not have the “FREE" factory 10 year maintenance like the newer F cars have. I think your FRIEND is going to be spending a lot more to maintain/fix HIS F car v a brand new non PTS GT3

The non-PTS GT3 is for me. He doesn't want to dealer with the dealier b.s. with Porsche.

Hey, Kash. This is Yen. We spoke about the Carmine Red GT4 the other day. For your reference, I was offered a 2018 allocation for $20k over. One email later, it dropped to $15k over.
$15k...there's your PTS money.

Wow, I've owned 6 Porsches, 2 of which were GT cars, including my current GT3, and never paid over MSRP. I have also owned several F-cars over the years and will never buy another one; unless I could get my 1967 330 GTC back for the $75,000 I sold it for back in the day. While they look and sound great, they just do not compare to the build quality and reliability of a Porsche. Plus, I got weary of spending thousands of dollars on a service when there was nothing wrong with the car.

I suspect we are a drop in the bucket and it would be like being boycotted by a special interest group.

I actually believe some of the people on this forum who talk about paying ADM and how lucky they are, actually are dealership employees or flippers themselves. I can't imagine how many people earn the money needed to buy a car like this and are wiling to essentially throw away 10k or more. I believe there are more people stretching to buy then not caring about the price

And can someone explain the math to me when someone gets fed up and walks away from a GT3 at say $180k because $15k of it happens to be called an ADM instead of MSRP and then 'shows Porsche' by marching over to McLaren and paying $210k for a 570S? Cutting the proverbial nose off to spite face?
