interesting turn of events. I spoke with my SA recently and told him that at 25k over, I will shop around and wait as I am in no rush. He immediately proposed a reduction to 15k over MSRP " for me s a courtesy" .. wow ...
Wondering if the demand isn't there and much of it is artificial , or what. He also states he has 3 people waiting for my allocation at 25k over and needs a deposit ASAP...

For $25k I'd hit the bid. Not going to probably change your life one way or the other. You want the car, hold your nose and write the check and have a great time with it and create some awesome memories. More fun than an extra $25k in the bank.

paying the extra 25k for the car isn't going to break the bank, but I'm always of the mindset of maximizing value as much as possible.
If he has several guys waiting to pay 25k over, I thin I will call his bluff and let the 15k offer go. I am more than happy to enjoy my turbo s , and revisit in a year or so when the frenzy dies down.
my grab a gt4 in the meantime however...

I start to feel I might bite $10k over if I am offered.............

Hit the ask is the phrase you were looking for unless you meant that you would sell an allocation for 25k.

My friend just picked up a 2011 458 with 4500 miles for $180k otd. That's less than my non-PTS GT3 spec. His car also includes full XPEL wrap, ceramic coat and some other goodies. Makes me think...
