.2 GT cars, tire temp on dash yet?
#2
It would be nice to see. The McLaren has it too. Haven't been tracking but if I was, I would get to learn the sweet spot in temps as pressures don't tell much once tires heat up.

Would only REALLY help if it measured temp outside, middle and inside. This is what I find helps at the track. Pyrometer is a bit of a hassle, but they work.

Not to hijack, nut there is a recent article on Jalopnik re: Cadillac/Cosworth CTS-V track software tied to a rear view mirror camera. Exportable via SD card. Apparently been out for a couple of years.
Much more functionality than the track app.

RS already had circuit mode.
It allows pressures to go below 26PSI in between track sessions.
But you have to set it starting over 26 PSI and you better remember to confirm circuit setting after each start, or you have to start all over again...

AFAIK, on my M2 it's inside the wheel. How exactly they measure it I don't know. But the tire pressure system sucks. If you drop the pressure for the track below what it thinks is safe, then above a certain speed, it cuts power. So you have to go into the pits to inflate the tyres back up.

I noticed it on a 570S I drove over the weekend and loved it. On the dash by default. Come on Porsche.
And like Trakcar said, even the pressure system with "Circuit" is a complete PITA.
