I got my GTS3RS meter to read 1.72 g on a banked left hand off ramp near my house. I did between 1.30 and 1.72 about 10 times. It actually gave me a bit of a head ache. What is the highest number recorded here? Can you actually do 2 g's on the street? Is this g meter in the car really accurate?

On track about 1.7 - 1.8 is max I think, maybe on sticky track / new tires more?
Braking is less surprisingly.

My current maxes are 1.79 turning, 1.52 braking, 1.00 accelerating (on a track!). Not sure if i've done higher, I reset it from time to time.

how accurate is the G meter?

Not a good representation. If the car slides or hops in a turn than catches, it'll record a high G reading. But it's fun.

I have hit as high as 1.7 in my Clusport on slicks. But that is on my Motec data recorder.

typically see 1.2-1.6 on tight corners.

My rib cage was bruised from the g loads early this season.

Obviously, its largely dependant on tires current PZero N1 1.4-1.5, MPSC2/Corsa 1.5 - 1.7, slicks 1.7plus. I suspect the fixed Porsche system of accelerometers are more reproducible than many of the bolt in systems (other than if they are rigid mounts).
