I never understood the secrecy while at the same time professing wanting to help a fellow forum member. Smells like a catch somewhere.

There is no catch. None. I'm not going just going throw an opportunity like this out there. The preference is to meet, can't do that, so let's talk, see who serious and then move forward. I don't understand most of you regulars. You really appear petty, all knowing and quite insecure. I don't know why I bother. However, I will follow through with this original offer. Therefore, if truly interested, PM me. If not, stfu...

So, you know a car that's coming to a dealer and you're going to hook-up a Rennlister by telling them what dealer? You can probably just put the info up here and save yourself all the hassle.

The only way this can be true is if the car is a European car(grey market)which will have to be retrofitted to meet US standards. If this is the case, it would be too much of a hassle.

Could it it be a US-spec VVIP/VIP unit someone backed out of?

Iirc there was a post of like three .2 VIP GT3s (or possibly more) sitting at the port (NY/NJ??) awaiting clearance or certification??

Pat Long is currently driving a 991.2 in California, couldn't tell from his instagram story if it was a euro spec though.

This is not a 991.2 GT3....it's a 2015 GT3 in Speed Yellow....the OP misunderstood "new" and I think was a little mislead by the dealer....he meant well by trying to pass it along....spoke to him and he's a nice guy and definitely looking to help out someone....if anyone is interested let the OP know and he will pass along the info....

I am so sorry, my guy misled me! It's a 2015 new gen 1 3, speed yellow, 161 msrp.

I asked him why would anyone want a gen 1 at msrp?

I apologize to you all. Sincerely, David
