Default Anyone know which dealerships sell the most GT cars?

I would think this would be somewhat of a 'badge of honor' for one dealership to be allotted more GT cars than another. Is it simply based on sales volume of non GT cars and SUVs? You would probably assume the biggest would be Champion on the east coast and Auto Gallery/ BH Porsche in the west.. Are there ever small dealerships (like Fresno) allotted significantly more cars for great service? How does it work??

In a nutshell, based on 911 sales. More 911's you sell, more GT allocations.

Interesting....so Panamera/SUV sales are not figured in. It is nice to hear that the 911 still is important!

Seems accurate

I would assume all car sales not only 911 sales factor in to GT car allocations. Maybe 911 carries more weight but just a guess. Would be interesting to know facts

911 sales ..... not all car sales.

Makes sense. Strong 911 clientele dealers get rewarded.

Some other small incentives to get GT allocations, but how many 911's you sell is the BIG one.

# of 918's
# of 911's sold as a % of national sales

X amount of 911 units nationwide x % of national sales = % of national GT units

Is there some provision that guaranteed all dealers at least one GT3, one GT3RS, and one GT4? It would seem there are some small dealers that might not qualify for at least one of each.

The tough part is some smaller dealers don't get all the 911's they could sell. True Catch 22.

Correct. And they cannot catch up, because large dealers are in a perennial spiral to maximize their 911 share of nation to max their GT allocations...

I know my dealer. Porsche Prestige in Montreal, Canada received 18 Initial GT3 allocations. Not sure where that sits on the ladder.

That is the most I have heard of for any Canadian dealer. They sure do seem to sell alot of "used" GTx cars though.
