Default The GT3 should have stayed manual AND air-cooled

Like my friends in Modena like to say... this is definitely "tanta roba".. WilliamsF1 engine for Singer, 500hp air-cooled motor, over 9k rpm, It uses four-valve cylinder heads, a dual oil circuits, titanium connecting rods, aluminum throttle bodies, carbon fiber intake trumpets, and a carbon fiber air box. There's also ram-air intakes built into the 911's rear quarter windows, and a titanium and Inconel exhaust. Singer says it's good to rev beyond 9000 rpm. my head just exploded. #singerporsche911 #williamsf1singer #singereimagined

I'm guessing starting price is $1Million though...

That motor would be the perfect fit for my 1,890 pound 911. Power to weight ratio of 3.78 pounds per HP

It will be expensive, but I'd like to think it won't be anywhere near $1MM, unless you are talking about a complete Singer car that comes with it...

Ed Pink Racing has been building all of Singer's motors for awhile now (discontinued their relationship with Cosworth years ago).

I just called Singer and they will reveal option price of the motor (just available as an upgrade with a complete car build from them, not available as a "part" only), as well as where and by whom the motor is built...

It may be. As I said, it will be revealed where, by whom, and at what cost the engine is built in the next few weeks (they wouldn't confirm any of it on the phone)...

$1.6Million when attached to a car.. that's the price. judge the value for yourself. How much marketing is built into that price? In my opinion, this is Singer's way to try to self-finance their way out of a big financial issue they have going at the moment.

Just pull a Tesla and issue some more convertible debt!
