Default Selling my 2016 Spyder with Modifications: X-Post

I wanted to link to the classifieds post I made as I've seen others do on the most active part of the forum, and where i know the most people and most ready and able buyers. I hope this is kosher, Mods. please delete if it isn't.

https://rennlist.com/forums/for-sale...fications.html

I've seen others post their vehicles for sale in the past, watched the commentary and opinions on pricing and options which inevitably follow, and cringed for them. It always reminded me of the "walk of atonement" scene with Cersei in Game of Thrones as she was made to walk naked down the street of her city with people throwing stuff at her.

Well, today its my turn, except, I hopefully haven't committed any wicked sins, I'm a dude, and luckily, you can't see me naked behind my compute.. but please don't throw things at me.

Jokes aside, the day I thought would never come is here, it tears me up a bit, but hey.. 1st world problems right? I think it makes sense for me to sell my beloved Spyder, for the following reasons:

-a very special P-car I ordered is coming soon.
-Living in San Francisco I simply don't have enough garage space for 3 cars + bikes + fiancee' moving in.
-It's summer, so another Rennlister can still have time to enjoy it.

I'm not going to give my sob story about how sad this moment is, I'm going to stand my decision like a man and just deal with it. I'll also try not to oversell this car, except to say, it's simply the most amazing car i've ever owned, and if there was a rational way for me to keep it, I would. Living in this city, with 5 vehicles already between cars and bikes, having two sports cars is just not logical for me. As i committed to and now have an expected PTS GT3 coming... there is no way to garage both, so.. here goes:

-2016 GT Silver on Classic Spyder Interior with LWB and some rare factory options including leather inner door inserts, leather inner dash, leather steering column, leather edged floor mats and leather sunvisors. You can see all the stock options below, but the MSRP came out to $102,000.
-She has 10,500 miles (no track, just road trips to Napa and LA with my fiancee', and mountain twisties on weekends.
-1 oil change at 5500 miles, the second one i'm bringing her in for this week. This is more often the the factory spec but i believed it was important to change oil frequently.
-She has approximately $15k in aftermarket options which will fit some tastes and not others. Most of these are reversible if desired, but ideally, the buyer will be someone who shared my vision for what the ultimate expression of this car is. Just speaking in engine mods alone.. if you drive a regular "porsche-factory neutered" spyder or a gt4, and then this.. you won't ever want to driver it stock again. The power delivery is now very torquey, and it rises to 7k rpm.. doesn't just flatten out at 5k rpm like stock. it has approx. 45hp over stock per Fabspeed. There is lots of info on this complete package all over Rennlist, all i can say is it's amazing. Not to mention the sound above 4k rpm which is supercar glorious. The car has never been connected to a PIWIS, the Cobb can all be uninstalled if desired, including the Cobb with their new backdoor access to reset the ECU counter so it's all invisible.. but you'll never want to, set up this way it's a completely different world from stock.

CONDITION: The car is perfect. My fiancee' and I have perfected the "LWB hover" move so we don't touch the bolsters, they aren't even shiny or creased. The paint has PPF and is perfect. The wheels are perfect, and having just been painted, they are better than new as the stock wheel paint tended to chip easily. When I clean it, i clean the barrels of the wheels also.. they are as shiny as the spokes. The car has been garaged at my fiancee's since "birth".. i can't fit it into my garage for well-documented reasons, and looks better than new. WAY better than new.

Who painted the wheels and what was the color code? Those really look fantastic on that car.

I sourced the material from "Garry" in England, no joke... a lot of people use "Garry".. I had to match the red with the interior:

http://classiccarrestorationsurrey.c.../garry/page/2/

Then you can just unvelcro the LWB seat covers, and have any custom shop match the pattern.. another very easy job which I was too cheap to pay porsche $8500 for. The alcantara covers are stored from new and can just be velcroed back in.

Code is a Porsche color, literally called "RS white gold 539". With gloss clear. I always liked the GT2RS launch color, with carbon bits, gt silver, red interior, and the white gold wheels, and wanted to replicate it on the Spyder. Turned out quite nicely. I had a local shop here in SF do it, its an easy job, I'll get the name in a sec.

Sad to see such a sweet car leave your garage mate...but I am thrilled to hear that you have a garage that will now accept a GT3!
