The second para graph reads, " Effective at once, the limited warranty on all your vehicle's internal engine components continues for ten years from your vehicle's original in-service date, up to 120,000 total miles on your vehicle, which ever comes first."
Much stronger and wider wording than mere finger followers.

Same here, arrived today, although it does reference the existing bumper to bumper warranty as 4 years/50K miles when in fact it was extended on my 2014 car to 5 years/100K miles after the engine replacement. Nevertheless, the extended engine warranty is a great comfort and Porsche really stepped up to the plate on this, after getting a "nudge" from the team. Thanks again guys!

Received my letter in NJ today. Porsche really stepped up to the table on this one. Some surprise to find virtually no limiting finger follower language, well done & thank you again to all involved.

Wording couldn't really be better. As far as I'm concerned, the engine is covered - period.

I think I'll keep my car for about 10 years or 120K miles, whichever comes first, and maybe longer. I plan to rack up miles.

Big thanks to the COG and big credit to Porsche for doing the smart/right thing.

Update: I have edited the original post to reflect the 10 year, 120,000 mile warranty covering all internal engine components, regardless if the failure was attributed to finger follower wear or not.

Have yet to receive mine but not too worried. Has anyone from Canada received their letter yet?

Hey Bronson. Fingers crossed that you guys up north get it soon. Maybe contact your dealer and see if anything shows for the car.

No reason to be, Bronson. I imagine you will get it by early next week, at the latest.
