per Eduardo.. I have similar concern. I was contacted for PTS but then when confirmed I was definitely a manual, was pushed back. I think the couple of rumoured PTS that were available here all went to early PDK orders.
Concern now could be next PTS on manual is middle to late 2018.

I knew it could happen but I thought it wouldn't.
I live in Italy, PTS price here was the already crazy 7300 euro one month ago when I had been offered and answered yes (signed paper on that price).
Tonight the delaer told "sorry we were wrong, now the price is 10200".
Here we pay the carpets, we pay Euro factory delivery if we want it...but we already live in Europe...we pay 3400 euros of "nothing" to put the plate on the car and the car on the street out of the OP.
Then we pay 22% VAT (included in the prices above) and 5000 euro of taxes/year for a 500 hp car.
Insurances are equally crazy but I don't want to get you bored.
All these reasons together are why I thought they could leave PTS at ONLY 7300 euro.
First reaction was to give up on my GT3 allocation.
The second was to look at McLaren prices.
Third to ask a McLaren dealer a discount equal to my gt3 deposit (that I would loose).
I feel like a squeezed lemon.

Mr. Brick: come to Belgium. We pay 11K Eur registration and 4k Eur annual taxes. And you get to pay for the carpets as well
Anyway, October deliver for a MT.
edit: read the OP better .. never had a confirmed PTS build. That would have delayed delivery.

Sadly, I think there will be many
scenes as the one above here at
Rennlist after PAG finalizes PTS
on the .2 991 gt3! I hope not...
but I was getting that feeling
yesterday (which was why I
posted my concerns). And today
I woked up to this post from
'beoliving' in Germany:

It was a confirmed racing yellow November build, colour selected randomly among the no cost ones to manually add PTS price on the contract I signed.
Luckily RY is my favorite standard paint, so I hope not to have delays if I ditch PTS.

Io li guadagnerei il quadruplo facendo lo stesso mestiere (pubblico) e senza strafare.
Da fuoriclasse molto di più
Mi basterebbero Germania o Svizzera.
Germany or Swiss would be enough for me

Everyone has his budget and reactions could be different from country to country but the problem isn't scrictly economical but "of concept".
First it seems a bad taste joke from PAG.
Second I would spend 10K more for something that adds performance not for a colour...I know I was going to throw away 7K...but tonight I woke me up.
And don't tell me that these funny PTS prices will multiply resale values because we're not talking about a 997 4.0 or a 991 R.
Eduardo why did you make increase our passion for PTSs over the years instead of the love for heated seats for example ?!
I would have easily given up on them!
I am sure you're feeling guilty for the what you've created
Anyway I have to be honest with myself.
My true love was for Riviera Blue (from 997.2 GT3 press car I personally saw a couple of times)...now too common and similar to the "special" Miami.
A different PTS (Birch Green in my case) would have been a "second best".
Wondering if to go on with this GT3 or to seriously think about a 570 spyder (wich is the best of all worlds IMO, except the lack of a LSD but nobody is perfect).
The night (here) to decide.

570 spyder is THE perfect sports car.. absolutely beautiful, amazing performance, even better looks than the coupe, well thought out and well priced. It's enough to make a man go non-NA.
I'll be driving one down the California coast next week and will report back.. but I could be swayed also.

Is it premature to form a Concerned Owners Group for PTS?
