Manufacturer’s SUGGESTED Retail Price
The buyer holds all the power of whether or not to pay above MSRP. There is no gun to anyone's head.

Agree, disden. This is exactly why I will never do business with Brandon Starks/Porsche Jacksonville. Fool me once, as the saying goes.

Well, I guess it didn't take long until one of the California stealers trolls Rennlist looking for a buy to pay an ADM for a GT3 allocation.

A few buyers changed their minds and so these guys have some allocations available at market market? Yeah ok. First of all, there isn't a market price as no cars have sold. Second of all, we know that the stealer is spec'ing their own cars to sell instead of selling to local customers. Let's welcome Walters to the stealership list.

He's just trying to thin out the competition for his own cars he's trying to flip.

They used to be known as a good guy dealer and I used to service my cars there but obviously the dollars are more important than taking care of their good customers. So be it, they aren't getting another penny from me.
Cars that I'm trying to flip? Last time I checked, I'm a driver and not a flipper. Calling me a flipper is like calling Auto Gallery the best dealership in the US.

There is a difference between ADM, and blind auction to the highest bidder... two different levels of poor business. Then, a further level of crappiness is when your car was promised to you at Msrp after years of waiting, and then you arrive only to be offered the option to blind bid at said auction.. that's level 10 crappiness. These are all varying degrees of sleaze which we, as ultimate arbiters of morality, must decide on.

Just add him to your ignore list. It makes Rennlist a better experience. Have a few more I need to add also.

Are you comparing someone who buys, drives an then later sells their used car at a profit to someone who buys simply to flip at a margin? I'd say the latter is very different, as it results in a material percentage of cars sitting unused for a long period of time rather than being driven as intended. That's the real problem with flipping IMO. That and the fact that, if there is profit to be made, it should be going directly to Porsche AG, not some flipper.

Yup, the good guy dealer list is very short in CA where you can count them on one hand with Fresno Porsche being at the top. Walters does have a wonderful service department but I will not support them any longer.
