I respectfully disagree: When 2-3 year old used cars are listed and selling for >80% of MSRP something is off. I would suggest supply is low enough that while the cars do indeed depreciate, they depreciate from a higher price point than MSRP.
I agree completely. This audience is generally an informed subset of buyers and includes a lot of long term customers.

It's been that way for a while. Does that include 911GT cars?
Limiting production of the 911 GT cars to retain their exclusivity (or whatever) is a Porsche tactic. It seems to me, that it works as long as other 911 cars occupy the assembly line time. But, when run of the mill 911's aren't selling, the assembly line slows, maybe even stops. Because an inactive assembly line quickly gobbles up lots of profit, the pressure increases to sell more of something that does have demand- i.e., GT cars.
It may be a good time to pick one up at sticker, or less.

you are ignoring all of the potential owners who would buy cars if allocations were available at MSRP (or below, like basically every other car).

A lot of people that can afford to pay ADM easily don't even come to chat in car forums, so this poll cannot be that reflective of real life facts. In "high rent districts" like California and New York, I am sure pretty much every dealer will be charging ADM on all the 991.2GT3's in the beginning except for a few VIP's, or until whenever the market does not support that anymore.

Agreed. .1 GT market is saturated by everyone getting out to move up to the next shiny nickel. It will be the same way in two years with the .2 market, but I'm keeping my car long term so future values don't concern me. (Although I think they will remain at least as strong as the .1 cars have).
If the .1 RS was available in a manual, I'd be taking advantage of the current flood of cars on the market and buying a deal. But, the PDK is a deal breaker.

Adm is the sword that cuts both ways and is the easy money which is a lure for fraud
After this, Porsche needs to forbid the practice of its dealers requesting deposits against cars that are not guaranteed. This is now fully and squarely on Porsche. These dealerships are agents of the brand, and while this is a practice that’s not directly managed by Porsche corporate, now that Porsche corporate has notice of this fraud, they are responsible for putting a stop to this practice. It’s always been a shady practice but after this it’s absolutely unconscionable for Porsche to allow it to continue.
- The latest revelation with Champion Porsche is simply the preverbably '....tip of the iceburg............'.
- IMO, it is caused in how PCNA has created & allowed the mark-up of all of their GT cars, especially to anyone who is not a 'VIP' customer
- Each dealership establishes their own 'market', and PCNA has been well aware of this for some time
- PCNA has essentially created & allowed 2 different 'Classes' of Buyers through their VIP program
- It does not matter how many Porsche's anyone may have purchased in the past, nor how loyal they have been to the 'brand'
- If you attempt to purchase any GT type Porsche, the 'Surcharge' is $60K [at a minimum] to $150K-250K+/-
- That fact can be easily documented
- This was a predictable event............and Porsche [PCNA & others] have allowed it to develop
- Personally, I may simply purchase another brand of vehicle after decades of loyalty to Porsche, and after acquiring several different cars from them.

I am coming from BMW and going to be a first time Porsche customer who really wants to get the next GT4.
Can someone post or message me the dealerships that they got the MSRP or below MSRP deals from. I would really like to start to build a relationship with a dealer like I did with my previous BMW purchases.
I have a couple of deposits but nothing states that they will do MSRP and everything I've read on here points to around a 20K ADM.
