I will say the Tundra was to be a tow only vehicle, relegated to storage with the race cars and trailer. Driving it home from the dealer turned it into a daily.
Plus, driving in LA traffic in a truck I don't give a flying f&*k about is 1000% more enjoyable than in the Aston Martin or GT3.

And I've been doing more research here on my break on the Raptors. I will defiantly consider it as a contender in my search for a daily now. Never thought I would cross shop a Lexus SUV with a Ford Truck, HA

Burning Brakes
My wife has a '16 RR Sport with the supercharged V6 and I cannot say enough good things about it. It has performed flawlessly for a year and a half. There is a tiny bit of turbo lag but you figure it out pretty quickly. My two boys are each 6'5" so back seat room is a consideration for us. The RR Sport is very comfortable all the way around and it think its a relatively good bargain. Ours was well equipped in the mid-70s.

i've been very fortunate with the Range Rover. No issues whatsoever. I know other people that have had horrible luck with them. Literally oil changes brakes and other routine maintenance for me until it 100,000 miles where I had to replace a fuel pump and front shocks.
the GL is on a completely different level in regards to power. It will pull and pull and pull. Very surprising for that heavy of a vehicle. The range rover in 2011 doesn't really seem that strong.

So, I drive to Starbucks, the mall, and soccer practice every day. What massive truck should I buy?

Re: pickups
I always had (well have) an SUV (or three): range rovers, defender 90s, defender 110, and then a suburban and when I bought a pick up I ended up using it all the time. Need to buy a couch? No big deal. Mulch. No big deal. Giant TV. No big deal. Maybe not as much of an issue for city dwellers but I really enjoy and have come to find it indispensable.

If you are not into the looks of the Raptor check out the Platinum F150 with the 3.5l turbo and new ten speed auto. My old man just picked one up with the tow package and it has seriously tempted me. Tows more than you would ever need and will surprise you when you put your foot in it.
