Typical turnout at COTA for GT3's is pretty strong. Last time I was there in June there were 5 other GT3's in my run group.

I was there last year at Labor Day weekend. It was ridiculously hot. End of August at COTA will see track temps north of 120.

Let's get a group together for November. Got more details?

I'm in. Don't know what group is hosting it. 3 days at COTA is tough. Two days will wear you out! But so worth it.

COTA Nov 17-18-19 is a joint DE- PCA and BMWCCA. Look on Clubregistration.net Registration not yet open.

Also EdgeAddicts has an event Sept 30/Oct1.

Aug 26/27 will be brutal. Best is to rent a garage, and get a coolshirt.

When you are coming out of town, it's 3-days or bust. haha Here's a link to the group that is running and the cost isn't bad either....I'll get a thread going for it. It'd be great to transport our cars together as we'll get better pricing.

My track off-season is late May through late Sept, just way too hot and not fun since our local tracks get to 100-120.

Did you (or anyone on here) go to their May event? If so, how many run sessions did the advanced group get?

I instructed at the May event, it was 4 sessions per run group for three days...Schnellfest isn't on a clubrace weekend so no problems with limited runtime and E cars oiling down the track.

Oh nice, I was worried that they would limit the number of sessions per day like they did during the PCA event when they had club racing.

So true. I have not bothered to get any seat time since end of June. It's just so darn hot and the cars hate this heat. Burns through your fuel and tires.

With that to say I will bring my GT3 and my cup car to the November event. COTA will have cooled off by then and F1 will be over so parking in the paddock won't be an issue.
