I am afraid Mission E hurts us GT customers
Im afraid the amount of R&D and infrastructure investment PAG is making will eventually hurt us, the GT customer. The company seems to be going all out on this product which is one I don't even want. So I am worried. I would like to buy a gas powered non hybrid or electric Mini Mission E 3 or 5 series competitor

Or maybe by providing a "green" sedan or at least one that is socially acceptable will allow them to continue to make naturally aspirated GT cars for years to come. Hard to say!
Frankly, I have no desire to have a gas powered sedan. I live in a downtown urban environment and therefore most of my commuting is done in short trips. In fact, Uber is my primary means of transportation. I save the sports cars for road trips, mountain drives, and the track, i.e. enjoyable activities. Perhaps down the road we will see two classes of cars: one for commuting (primarily electric cars) and one for enjoyment.

I have a Tesla on order for my daily driver that I'll use for commuting as it gives me commuter lane access, daily errands, etc, while keeping the GT3 for the track, fun weekend activities, and long trips.
I do have a deposit down for the mission E and may swap my Tesla DD for the Mission E depending how the Mission e turns out.

I will be second in line
a futurist says that by a couple decades from now , internal combustioned sports cars will be treated like riding horses today vs a hundred yrs ago : a weekend hobby exercised/enjoyed and possibly legislated to be used almost entirely in pvt facilities

They need to price somewhere around tesla model S money to make sense. This needs to appeal to someone who is considering a midsiE German luxury car like a 5 series or an e-class, with allowance for some electric premium on top. If it's a $100k base price I don't see the widespread market appeal.

I have a Tesla Model 3 coming and filled in the EOI for Mission E. Going to be interesting to see which path I eventually take.
BUT - Really do hope we have NA/TTS/Hybrid cars still being built as an all electric future sucks !!
