If I am not mistaken the PCA club sold 9 and gave away 1 in Golf blue, Carrera's. I have two in my club which you saw at Parade.

You might be confusing 'Golf Blue' with 'Club Blau'.




'Golf Blue' is a PTS color that is available to anyone via this
option. 'Club Blau' is a PTS color that is presently exclusive
to those 60 Limited Edition GTS that were built by PAG to
celebrate the 60th Anniversary of PCA (1955 - 2015). In
total 60 of these Limited Edition 'Cup Blau' GTS were built.
Fifty nine owners were selected via a special lottery that
was administered by PCA. But the cars were bought directly
from dealers in the US & not from PCA. The first one built
was eventually raffled-off via PCA & donated by PAG/PCNA.
One lucky winner got it for 'free' & they were announced at
Rennsport V at Laguna Seca (as you might well remember)!

By the way, it was nice to see you at Parade 2017 in Spokane.
And best of luck with the 991 gt3 'Concerned Owners Group'
meeting in Atlanta in early August!

The MY2016 'Club Blau' 991 GTS that won the Class in Preparation
at the 2017 Spokane Parade is John D'Angelo & he is not from your
region. He is 'Loma Prieta' in the People's Republic down south!

factory in Zuffenhausen! It's a beautiful car & he deserved the win!
