so it's true, these are worth at $500,000! man.. and there i was thinking this was all circuitous self-reinforcing tennlist talk with no real transactions at anywhere near this price especially now that gt3 manual was out.

how wrong i was.. internet video with big title and nice round number.. i apologize.

What things are worth is relative to what you already have.

Exactly. How much would you pay for a cup size C vs a EE?

Any special reason for the critique?

Doug is really easy to read and really really hard to listen to. Damn. So emphatic for no reason.

Doesn't add anything new. Entertaining review, nothing less. Awesome car. Not worth half a mill.

Do I like the R?. Yes. Sure. Do I think it's worth $500K+ or even $300K? Not by a long shot. Porsche only thought it was only worth $186K MSRP.

Apparently there are alot of others who disagree with both me and PAG and willing to pay 2x to 2 1/2x MSRP. I suspect it has something to primarily do with an exclusive build with #'d plates for each car. Yep. I think that's it.

I think my RS is way more car performance wise and the R disaapears when an RS is around to all but Porschefiles again I think it has to do with exclusive build and # plates but....as they say it is what it is.

As my grandmother said, may she rest it peace. "It's worth what you can get". That's pretty much it.

ahhh please tell Doug that it uses goo and air compressor to fix a flat......you don't change the wheel to a spare tire when you get a flat....on the side of the road.

Who is this guy and why should anyone care what he has to say about the R?
Is it even his own car?

I know Doug - have for 5+ years (before he was "famous"); he can be polarizing, but he's not a douchebag in any sense.
