Anyone know anything about these cars?
RL Family,
I'm looking to pick up a 2016 Spyder as a summer car to hold me over until I order a 991.2 TTS later this year. Below are links to the 2 cars I'm considering. Anyone know anything about these cars' histories? Also, any thoughts on which one I should get? My gut is telling me to go with the white one mainly bc it will cost me less which is always a good thing when it comes time for trade-in.
Also - do you think I need a PPI given they are still under warranty and will be for the course of my ownership?
Any thoughts/insight would be greatly appreciated!

Pick the one with the color and options YOU like. You have to live with it, not us. Cost difference is minimal.
The interior on the silver one is just spectacular in person though!
I would get a PPI just because of the manual tranny. The wrong kind of over-revs and warranty won't matter. At the very least, have them print out the DME scan results. They should do that for free. If they won't, then run away.

I'd go with the white because it's a much more classic color combination (red dash is an absolute deal-breaker for me, as well as most people I know, so a more limited market). But best of all, it's cheaper, has less miles, and most importantly, IT HAS CERAMIC BRAKES, which is a near 10-grand option. So the white is much lower than MSRP, while the silver seems to be at MSRP. Definitely a much better value if you're going to trade it in a few months IMO, but it's your decision.
