Default Yes, I've searched. Hatch rattle

Hi,

I have a 2007 Cayman S. I've searched the forum and googled around and found that many people have experienced the "hatch rattle" issue. I don't have the cover installed by the way.

A few people have mentioned a repair bulletin but haven't specified the name/number.

Before I take the car into the dealer I was wondering if there is anything I can do on my own first. I haven't been able to pinpoint the rattle but it is definitely coming from the hatch.

Thanks!

I'm new to the cayman myself, but there seem to be some threads on this issue over at the planet 9 forums. Not much on the issue over here.

Here is what you are looking for. I spent a lot of time trying to figure this out. My hatch is dead silent after over a year of daily driving still so the problem is solved.

Thank you VERY much! The rattle is driving me absolutely crazy. I'll get right on it.

Best,
