Last Wednesday, March 31, got a deal (about 23% off MSRP) on a new 2010 boxster S that I could not pass up, and took the plunge. Artic silver metalic, black leather, 6spd, xenons, bluetooth, auto climate control, auto dimming mirrors/homelink/rain sensing wipers, bose surround, and wind blocker.

What a fantastic car. It's been 6 days and I can't wipe the smile off my face. crappy phone pic below. I'll post more pics later.

I do have one question: has anyone figured how to link up an iphone through bluetooth so I can see my contacts in the radio? I can can make calls manually through the radio, but can't store contacts or have the radio automatically download the contacts from my iphone. Searched here but didn't really get a definitive answer. thx

Congrats... i know the Iphone has issues with bluetooth and contacts i have had issues with any bluetooth device i use for making calls with my iphone over bluetooth. As for the smile i am always smiling with the top down on mine and anytime i need a pick me up at work i just jump on the forums and remember how much i love my car

Don't ruin your drive by talking on the phone. no one will hear you with all the wind buffeting around the cockpit anyway Looks great - enjoy.

I got it at Loeber in Chicago (actually, suburb just north of chicago).

I also ordered the clear sidemarkers last night from suncoast. After the switch, I think it will look much better.

Boxster in my Future?

In an earlier post, I mentioned that I got 25% off MSRP on my '09. Fred Baker Porsche in Bedford, Ohio (Cleveland market). Not sure if they have any '09's left.

Damn, the Boxster market is sooo in the toilet.

They are having the hardest time selling these cars.

Buy 'em while you can, cause if they don't start selling better soon, they may not be around much longer.
