‘06 BoxS Tiptronic shifter moves very hard
Anyone have suggestions on a problem that is getting worst w/ my wife’s tip shifter.
It has become extremely hard to move the shifter whether cold or hot according to my wife.
Anyone else seen this problem?

Have you taken a look at the connector/box thing that lives on the side of the transmission? It's a little hard to get at completely as it sits behind the trans mount bracket but you should be able to inspect the linkage.
Barring that, you may want to see if you can shoot some silicone spray into the cable itself, to help loosen things up internally. I don't have a great image in my head of how sealed off the end of the cable is on that side but you should be able to disconnect the cable from the linkage post, hold it up vertically, and slowly allow some lubricant to work its way into the cable. If you're so inclined you can probably also try it from the other side, near the shift lever.
