The Macan V6 is an Alusil block. The Lokasil process was used only with the 97-08 Boxster, Cayman, and 911 models, with three iterations - Lokasil I, II, and III, the 987 using the Lokasil III process. The Lokasil process was never used by any other manufacturer.

Ironically, both Honda and Toyota have used processes similar to Lokasil with zero issues.

Bore scoring on a 2005 or 2006 Boxster S with the 3.2 engine is non-existent. I've only ever seen one with scoring and it was daily driven in Russia :-)
