Purchased an 05 987S
Hey guys,
Had it shipped here from Bethesda Porsche last week. 19's with Pilot Sports. GT Silver metallic, PASM, sport seats and sport wheel and full leather. Also has Bose and Xenon's and other minor addons like crests etc...
Got it with 25,700 on the odometer. Feels faster than other ones I've owned. I'd swear something's been done to it.

Very similar to an RS 60! Looks great. And you'll have SUCH an easier time cleaning those wheels as opposed to the ones that come with the RS 60. Whoever specced your car dropped a nice chunk of change for the color as well.

Congrats on the beauty! Almost exact twin to mine that I picked up in Feb (PASM, sport seats, sport wheel, full leather, Bose...) except for the natural brown leather, wheels, and 35k miles. The most Porsche bang for the buck today, hands down. I keep finding excuses to drive it, and when I run out of them I just go ahead and drive it anyway. You will love it!

Which engine do you have ref IMS bearing?
Check out the DSC Sport module to upgrade your PASM handling. Love the GT Silver. Mine is the more common Arctic Silver.
This is my '05 (with '03 3.8L engine)

The engine listed would definitely fall into the IMS ones. Going to have it replaced but not too worried about it. I'll check out the DSC module. Nice setup! ..how much to the crank??

Is that the last of the first where you can get to the IMS without cracking open the motor or the first of the last where you have to crack open the motor to get to the IMS? If it's like my 987.1 Cayman S you cant get to the IMS.

The engine I have now is a Carrera 3.6L resleeved to a 3.8L. Had it dyno'd and it got 320HP to the wheels. I'm putting on a couple of add-ons that should push it to around 340HP - EVOMS air filter and IPD competition plenum and GT3 throttle body.

Enjoy!
