I like this product as it fits all of my cars nicely, holds the phone firms and I can take it with me when i travel and have to use a rental car.

I used ProClip in my RS60, Cayenne, and my e46 - IMHO there is none better. For whatever reason though the model for my 987 Spyder did not fit well at all.
I switched to this one: . It is great for the street. I swapped out the wingnut for a hex so it would have a smaller profile. If you are not using CD's, it is fantastic. I have a CD in the slot with a bunch of MP3's on it so no need to take it out.
That said - it did not work at the track. I do 2-3 HPDE's a year in my Spyder and this just doesn't cut it. The phone would slide around, upside down, eventually fall off.
Switched to this one: , which has sides/support for the phone. It works really well, supports the phone well - only downside is that it blocks the display a bit more, but I never really use the display.
At $10 each, you can try them and toss them if they aren't for you...

I do have an extra T-Designs mount, if anyone's interested.

I bought both the Rennline and the T-Design for my 981 Base and prefer the T-Design because of the choice of mounting locations. I did find the magnet on the T-Design inadequate and installed a Proper aftermarket magnetic mount and iPhone case with good results. (https://www.studioproper.com/product...12466495815791)
I'd be happy to sell the Rennline mount for half price if anyone is interested.

just use one of those simple magnetic ones that clip in to an air vent, aukey makes my version but there are 100s of alternatives. The other side of the magnet slides into my phone case, has worked great.

Would probably look for something a little more secure for track purposes, but this one has never let me down. Clips on a vent and rotates to whatever view I need:

Another vote for T-designs. I use the universal mount (which has the side squeeze mounts) which I feel is less likely to drop my phone and risk chipping something on the interior over hard bumps, plus you can easily squeeze the bottom part of your phone and that way you do not block your screen at all.
