Default running wire to rear bumper

In my 2009 track Cayman S, want to run wiring for a rain light to the rear bumper. Any suggestions with getting wire from the front dash switch to the rear. Can I do this without removing the rear bumper?
Appreciate any help

Factory harness runs along the door sill. Do you not have tail lights? If not just use the existing harness.

Stock harness is CAN bus to the rear module PDU (under drivers seat) and 12v from the PDU to lights... At least that's is the way the 987.1 is. Assume the .2 is the same.

You can power the rain light from the license plate light wiring. That way it will turn on and off using the headlight switch and you don't need to run wires to the dash.

I installed a rear camera and ran the wires from my PCM to the rear license plate. Put it under the trim on the passenger side on the door threshold, then up behind the trim pieces along the side behind the seat. They pop out fairly easily. Then remove the tail light and the wire can come through a hole behind it and you can fish it down below the spoiler to the tag area.
