Our development car is a 2009 Cayman S with the PDK transmission. During development we were all acutely aware of what I refer to as "the drone zone" on the Cayman platform. I am happy to report that with the valves closed between 2,200 and 2,800 RPM there is minimal drone in the cabin with the windows up or the windows down. Even when fitted with the Competition Headers, I am confident enough to state that with the valves closed, no significant other, business client or other passengers will be the wiser to the fact that the car is modified and will have no complaints. With the valves open, you have to specifically try to get the car to drone by holding it at low RPM and high load with the windows up, but understandably it can be done. Even in auto mode the full exhaust is perfectly livable. You really need to hear it yourself to believe it ;) |
Your products look very nice with good quality.
Having said that I kind of like the sound of the Cayman better in "closed mode". Its nice to have the option to open or close the mufflers. |

We have gotten several requests for video of our 987.2 with the stock headers and the Soul Performance Products Valved Exhaust lately. Over the weekend we went ahead and swapped out the headers for their factory counterparts and used the video as an excuse to stand out in the sunshine for a while. We hope you enjoy!

Preparation for shipment! We foam pack every product to ensure your Soul products arrive in perfect condition. We work with the foam company to evaluate every product for best shipping practices - how we can fit the products into the smallest appropriate box while providing ample protection. We include installation instructions that are also a packing checklist. Headers are double checked in our fixtures and leak tested prior to shipping. The Long Tube Street Headers include new hardware which you also see. We include a microfiber towel to wipe the exhaust components down after installation to minimize the oils smoking off during your first session. |
