Hey guys, tried searching but couldnt find an answer.
Just picked up some Euro gt3 seats w/ brey krause mounta and sliders for my 987. Bought second hand.

Im currently installing them along with my freahly painted console, and I've noticed that both the driver and passenger seat are too close to the center console!

The driver seat is slightly off center with the wheel, which is noticable, but what is most important is i cannot even pass the buckle latch between the seat and console, there isnt enough clearance!

Is there something I am missing??

What year gt3? 996 seats fit well in the 987

The previous owner had them bolted into an 04 turbo. Im bolting them into an 09 cayman.

they bolted in no problem, but im going to take the paint off my console trying to wedge the buckle in the right position to buckle in...

Can you use GT3 sliders? I have not been impressed with the BK slider fitment in my '14 Cayman. Or you may be able to offset the seats on the sliders away from the center tunnel by using spacers or fabricating brackets.
