Yes, and you may need another wheel alignment after this settling occurs. After about 1,500 miles and 1 track day, I had to take my car back in for a realignment to compensate for the settling. I could feel the steering pull, and steering was off center. After this initial alignment, all subsequent track days and driving have only resulted in minor changes between wheel alignments. I always compare the readings before changes are made to see how it's changed from the last alignment. YMMV.

okie981, a bit off-topic, what options are there for seats and harnesses for a 981 Boxster for the track? In my previous 987 Box S, I used the Euro (996) GT3 buckets and the harnesses were wrapped around the roll-bar behind. The 981 roll bar doesn't seem like it would work. Does everyone that takes a 981 Boxster to the track just use the OEM seats and seat-belts?

If you will start a new thread in this forum section with your question I will post all the info I have on the topic. Short answer here is that track prep outfitters need to see some interest from 981 Boxster owners before a harness bar will make production status. There is only one Boxster S I am aware of that has a harness bar and it was a prototype.

What's crazy is that you can't get the X73 from ANYWHERE right now. Suncoast, Delaware, Porsche Parts in Florida, it's gone from everyone.
Over heard it's TBD as far out as 2026, to as soon as the end of April.
