You guys should consider sticking around for the DE at the end of Parade, on Sunday. Great way to end the week!

Yup! Detailing this weekend... trailering mine out. Just bought a Futura Tandem Trailer. First real Porsche event for us. Excited to see everyone and their cars.

Driving up already. Figured we'd see some sights along the way. Stopped at Mammoth Lakes. Man the roads leaving there are beautiful!

Stopped in Reno NV and made a small withdrawal, better than leaving a "deposit". Below is how I park in parking lots.

Really happy for all you 987/981/718 forum participants who will be in attendance. Should be epic! Great chance for you guys to finally put a face to a name (or an avatar). Hope everyone will take plenty of pics for those of us who can't make it.

Enjoy guys

I am going from Socal too. There is a Zone 8 Caravan leaving tomorrow morning. I want be able to make that as I am waiting for my car (it's getting coilovers). Should get it back on Friday so hoping to leave early afternoon on Friday. Hope I can get there by the 9th. When are you leaving?

We left on Sunday so we could take some time to stop along the way. I'm arriving Friday afternoon. You should ask if they can have your car done by Thursday. It's about 1200 miles depending where you are.

Anyway, maybe see you in Spokane.

After Reno we backtracked and stopped in Virginia City. Here's a couple of shots along the way. (I took some in Virginia City itself but they're on my DSLR and I haven't uploaded them to my iPad yet.)

We arrived yesterday and are in the process of cleaning 2100 miles of dirt etc off the car. Spyder averaged over 28 MPG running at "slightly" over 70 just to try and get away from the trailer that was tailgating ..... could not shake it

drive safe, starting to set up Sunday check in today

f4, every time you post a pic of your beautiful Aqua Spyder with trailer in tow it puts a huge smile on my face. It's about the coolest thing I've ever seen. Enjoy the Parade and safe travels

Living in Seattle, its a crime not to go to the parade but I am tied up. Was planning to drive my '73 Dalmatian Blue 911 but now like Afshin, I too will have to take the vicarious route. Enjoy folks.
F4plt: Thats a great shot.
