Default FABSPEED MOTORSPORT | 986-981 ECU Tuning - No ECU Removal Required

As many of you may already know, we have a world class tuner here in house that does phenomenal work unleashing the performance potential hidden in the factory software. In addition to the Porsche platform he specializes in tuning near every make and model vehicle on the market. Whether it be a 500whp Honda Civic or a twin turbo 2000+whp Gallardo...we do it all.

We now offer an alternative tuning method for most vehicles equipped with ECU's that traditionally required bench flashing, and that includes the Boxster/Cayman. No longer do you need to remove your ECU and mail it in for a tune, and no need to send your ECU in to return to stock - simply use the MyGenius to flash back, then to your Fabspeed ECU Tune again at any point!

The MyGenius device interfaces with the OBD-II port on your Porsche and your computer to complete the tuning process, which is as follows:

-Read stock data on vehicle via OBD-II port with MyGenius
-Interface MyGenius with software on your computer and send in data to Fabspeed Motorsport via email
-We use this data along with information you provide about your vehicle to write a tune for your specific setup and email back your custom tune in 1-2 business days
-Write the Fabspeed ECU Tune to your MyGenius, then to the vehicle with the MyGenius
-Enjoy your increased performance!

Fabspeed ECU tuning via the MyGenius is currently available for the following Boxster/Cayman models (more will become available as time goes on):

-986 (All Models) - $895
-987.1 (All Models) - $895
-987.2 (2.9L) - $895
-987.2 (3.4L) we protune via the Cobb Accessport - Accessport and Protune $1145
-981 (All Models) we protune via the Cobb Accessport - Accessport and Protune $1545

I will be adding dyno graphs to the thread as I start getting them from our tuner

For all tuning questions/inquires please feel free to give me a call/text/email/PM any time. Tuning for other makes/models are available!

Any orders through the website please reference myself (John Gaydos) during checkout so it will come across my desk to follow through on. I'd be thrilled to work with you and have you join the growing Fabspeed community

If you can post an overlay of baseline, Cobb 93 octane, and your pro tune on the 981S that would be a big selling point.

Lots of vendors claim that their pro tunes exceed what Cobb's tune is making.

No one that I am aware of has supplied data to back their claim.

981 S would see a good 10whp/tq although may vary slightly depending on upgrades done to the vehicle already. Our tuning is on special right now if you are interested

Cobb has live ECU data recording and LCD display, the MyGenius is a solution to transfer ECU files through the OBD2 port without the need to remove the ECU.

Our tuner is out of the office until Tuesday, but i'll see what I can find once he gets back

I know this isn't a 981, but I did find a OTS map/Protune comparison in past conversations with a client. The vehicle is a 997 GT2...Cobb Stage 1 93 Octane versus Fabspeed Custom Protune 93 Octane. Protunes do make a difference
