Default Tire wear ratios - F/R

Just pulled the Michelin PS2's off, now that the cold weather is settling into Chicago. Quite a difference in wear F/R. It appears rears are wearing almost twice as fast as the fronts.

Wear pattern across face of all tires looks good, pressures seem to be working well.

What's everyone else experience?

Tires on my daily drivers w staggered tire sizes usually wear 2:1 rear to front.

The tires on the spyder which I drive exclusively for fun, wore evenly all around in just 4500 miles. No track days.

Yes, seems I may just have to get used to this. My 944 and 968 were dead even on tire wear. Street and track.

Still love driving this car though :-)

It all depends how you drive the car. Mine are wearing fairly evenly front to back so far (5.3K miles), and also inner to outer tire surfaces. Stock GTS with X73, PTV and PDK here.

Normal wear for this type of car. But then again, isn't the handling superb!!

Indeed. It is nice handling. I got spoiled with replacing entire sets of tires, neat and tidy. Those days are over and I just gotta get over it.

Same here, rears wear faster than fronts although I'm noticing lately the front edges are wearing pretty quick too.

On my car - 4k miles on CCW tracks, 1k miles on street,
the fronts are wearing at least 2x faster than the rears.
And RF is most worn of the fronts - i.e. CCW.
