just picked up a 45k mile '13 Boxster S, 6 speed. so far so good. the speed catches up to you, 80 feels like 60 in the 01 S.

optioned as:

0Q - White
423 - 20" Carrera S Wheels
446 - Wheel center caps with colored Porsche Crest
603 - Bi-Xenon headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS)
640 - Sport Chrono Package
658 - Power Steering Plus
840 - SportDesign Steering Wheel
AG - Sports Seats in Black Partial Leather
P06 - 14-Way Power Sport Seats
P91 - Infotainment Package with BOSE Premium Surround Sound System
P94 - Premium Package

wondering why a white car has optional white paint? was white not a standard color? are there different white paints?

Dave, congrats on your car!

In the description of your build the color code for your car, 0Q, appears just as it does in all builds. It doesn't mean your white was "optional." It just means this is the color of your car, which was a standard no-cost option as this color usually is. There are other non-standard colors in various shades of white that are metallic and non-metallic that do cost extra, but yours is the "standard" white.

Many happy miles !
