Default Is it possible?

I own a '14 BS with Sport Chrono. that automatically matches revs when downshifting.

Although I am able to heel/toe, I like this feature & use it all the time as I always drive in SportPlus.

On numerous ocassions when downshifting, the 'blip' feature has not worked & I notice that I am no longer in SportPlus mode, but Sport mode.

Has anyone else had the same experience or is it some software glitch?

I never use Sport plus because I don't like the rev matching, but always put it in sport after startup and it hasn't changed out of that for me yet
('16 GTS).
I'm curious to hear if others have noticed this, since it doesn't sound normal.

I usually travel in normal or sport mode. When I do use sport+ I generally turn PSM OFF. What this does, in addition to turning off the nannies, is turn off the rev match function. I have never had sport+ revert to sport. You do realize, of course, that when you first start the car it defaults to normal.

Maybe unrelated, but my BMW switches from sport+ back to sport when I enable cruise control. Maybe it's something similar on your car?
