Default Aftermarket Stereo - Bose Boxster 2007

Has anyone done an aftermarket stereo in a Boxster with Bose sound package? It is my understanding the Factory uses fiber optics making the speakers & amp useless if you want to change the deck, and the only way to do it is to change everything: deck, amp, and speakers.

I really only want to get Bluetooth and the Bose speakers & amp are good enough for me if there is a way to use them. If anyone has done a stereo on this car I'd be interested to hear your experience and what you decided.

Also, does an aftermarket wiring harness exist for a 2007 Boxster base with Bose? Where can I get it? Crutchfield doesnt sell one.

I initially installed a Dension 500 to get Bluetooth. http://shop.dension.com/en/gateway-500 There are other MOST boxes NAVTV for one.

If you start over, you will have to do amp, speakers, cabling and headunit. Install cost for me was $500 with some dynamat in the doors.
