Default Tire pressure Monitoring system

Looking to get a winter wheels/tire combo.
Will I also have to get TPMS?
Track guys, what do you do with different set of track tires and TPMS ?

Any info will be appreciated.

Thank you. Kevin

If you don't get the TPMS sensors then you will have a warning light on the dash which may or may not bother you. For track wheels I've done it both ways. Having some info as tires warm up is useful but as you bleed pressure to keep hot tires at target it will often lead to warnings. GT3/4 have a circuit mode that helps with the warnings but you have to remember to re-select circuit mode each time you re-start. For a street set/ winter tires I'd probably get the sensors.
